v0.24 - Sales insights: what to grow more of next year

Added

  • Sales insights — what to grow more of next year. A new Insights view on the Farm stand (owners/admins) shows, for a season: your top sellers, where you sell best (revenue by channel), and a per-product table with revenue, profit, sold-through %, and days-to-sell. Pick when your season starts in Farm settings. This completes the farm stand: add what you sell → record sales and what didn’t sell → see what to grow more of next year.

v0.23 - Record sales and what didn't sell

Added

  • Record sales and what didn’t sell. Each farm-stand product now has a page showing what’s on hand, how much you’ve sold, the revenue it earned, and how much didn’t sell — with a quick Record form: stock in a harvest, log a sale (quantity, price, channel), or log a loss with a reason (spoiled, used for food, donated, fed to livestock). Every entry shows in a running log; nothing is overwritten, so the numbers always reconcile.
New

v0.22 - Farm stand: products & channels

Added

  • Farm stand — your products and where you sell them. A new Farm stand section: add the things you sell (eggs, garlic scapes) with a pack (“3 × 159 g per pack”), a unit, and a price, and list the channels you sell through (farm stand, Saturday market, CSA). Cost and margin are visible to owners and admins only. This is the first piece of the farm stand — recording sales and what didn’t sell, plus season insights, are on the way.

v0.21 - Move a task into an area or project

Added

  • File a task into an area or project — and pull it back out. Open a task and use Move to… to file it under any area or project, or Unfile it to make it a loose task again — works on phone and desktop. On desktop you can also drag a task from the List onto an area/project zone (or onto Unfiled) to file it in one motion. A task lives in one place, so filing it into one container clears the other.
New

v0.20 - Delete a task to the Trash

Added

  • Delete a task to the Trash. Beyond cancelling, you can now delete a task and say why — Duplicate, Not needed anymore, Made by mistake, or Other. Deleted tasks move to a new Trash (linked from the task list) where you can Restore any of them. Nothing is permanently removed and history is kept. Owners and admins can delete any task; anyone can delete a task they created.
Improved

v0.19 - Readable on your phone

Improved

  • Readable on a phone. Task rows now stack on small screens so the full title shows (no more “Ad…”, “Cl…”, “Fix…”), with the details and a tidy Start / Done / ⋯ action row beneath — the “⋯” menu holds Tomorrow / Next week so the buttons stop crowding out the title.
  • Month at a glance on mobile. The Month calendar shows a colored dot per task on phones (tap a day to see them) instead of clipped text.
  • Reviewed every view, the map, and the forms for mobile readability and touch.
New

v0.18 - Farm map

Added

  • Farm map. A new Farm map (in the sidebar, above Areas): a real satellite/street map of your land where you draw each area’s boundary and drop points of interest (water, gates, structures, beds). Set the farm’s location in Farm settings (latitude/longitude) or with Save center on the map; search an address to find it fast. Boundaries and markers can be edited, moved, and deleted, and each area shows its size in acres and hectares (on the map, the Areas cards, and the area page). Open an area’s “Draw on map” to jump straight to editing its shape.
New

v0.17 - Added Areas

Added

  • Areas — organize the farm by zone. A new Areas section (above Projects in the sidebar) for the physical parts of your farm — Strawberries, Raspberry, the Hot box. An area holds its projects and its own recurring routines (tasks with no project). Each area has a color and a detail page listing its projects and routines, with quick-add for both.
  • Per-area views. Open any task view — Today, Day, Week, Month, Matrix, Flow, Gantt, or List — scoped to a single area. A banner shows which zone you’re in, and switching views keeps the scope. A task’s area follows its project automatically, so you set it in one place.
New

v0.16 - Tick checklist items from the list

Added

  • Tick checklist items from the list. When a task has a checklist, expand it right on the row (in Today, Day, Week, Matrix, or the List) and check items off in place — no need to open the task. Any team member can.
New

v0.15 - Drag and drop

Added

  • Drag a task to a new day. On the Week, Month, and Gantt views, grab a task (by its ⠿ handle, a calendar chip, or its Gantt bar) and drop it on another day to reschedule it — no need to open the task. Any team member can. (The Matrix already supported drag-and-drop.)
New

v0.14 - Nudge and reminders

Added

  • A nudge when a day gets heavy. When you’ve got a lot due today, Today shows a friendly banner suggesting you push a few to another day with Tomorrow or Next week.
  • “This keeps slipping” suggestion. Every task now tracks how many times it’s been rescheduled (shown as a pushed N× tag). When a task gets pushed repeatedly and has no checklist yet, its page suggests breaking it into smaller steps — easier to start than one big job.
New

v0.13- Chore's Cadence

Added

  • Change a chore’s cadence in one click. On a recurring task’s page, hit change next to its repeat badge and switch between Daily / Weekly / Every 2 weeks / Every 15 days / Monthly. Upcoming occurrences are re-spaced to match — handy when the grass slows down and a weekly mow becomes biweekly. Any team member can adjust it.
  • “Next week” snooze. Alongside Tomorrow, every task now has a Next week button to push it seven days out in a single click.

Changed

  • Recurring tasks no longer clog the Matrix. A repeating chore now shows as a single card in its quadrant (with a “×N” badge for how many upcoming dates it stands for) instead of one card per occurrence — and the next one appears once you finish the current. (Flow and List already worked this way.)
New

v0.12 - multi-day edits on the spot

Added

  • Make any task multi-day on the spot. Started a job thinking it was one day, but it’s running long? On the task’s page, hit Make multi-day and pick how many days — the ¼ / ⅓ / ½ / ¾ progress buttons appear instantly, no trip through Edit task. It even works on a task you’d already marked Done: converting it reopens the task at 0% so you can record where you really are (“not done completely — just halfway”). Any team member can do it.
New

v0.11 - Change priority

Added

  • Change a task’s priority right from the list. Click the priority badge on any task — in Today, Day, Week, Matrix, the List, or the task’s own page — and pick Urgent / High / Medium / Low from a dropdown. No need to open Edit task just to re-prioritise. Any team member can do it.

Fixed

  • The priority dropdown now renders as a solid, readable menu (it was previously see-through and cramped against the rows beneath it).
New

v0.10 - Drag and Drop

Added

  • Drag & drop in the Matrix. Grab a task by its handle and drop it into Do now, Schedule, Delegate, or Later — its priority and due date adjust automatically so it genuinely belongs where you put it. (Mouse / desktop for now; touch dragging is coming.)
New

v0.9 -- QoL fixes

Added

  • Multi-day progress. Set how many days a job will take, then tap ¼, ⅓, ½, ¾ as you go — Farmist counts down the days left for you. No manual dates or numbers.

Changed

  • Recurring tasks no longer crowd your views. A weekly or daily chore now shows once in the Flow chart and List, colour-coded with its cadence (e.g. “weekly ×4”), so it stops burying your one-off and urgent work.

Fixed

  • New projects land where you expect. Creating a Farm (or Fun & side) project now starts it as active under its category instead of silently dropping it into Ideas. A new “Park as an idea” checkbox keeps the someday-maybe list when you want it, and ideas show their category.
New

v0.8 — Faster, clearer task entry

New

  • Smart capture — start typing a task and Farmist suggests the project, type, and tags from the words; the Project field moved to the top with type-to-search and a “New project” shortcut.
  • Make any task repeat — you can now turn an existing task into a repeating one straight from its edit screen.

Improved

  • Redesigned task form — a cleaner two-column layout that uses the screen: Details and Priority on the left; Schedule (time, due date, repeats) and People & tags on the right.
  • Easier to fill out — assignees and “repeats on a schedule” are now big, clearly-labelled buttons; start/end times are quick scrollable pickers; priority colors match the rest of the app so urgency reads at a glance.
  • Prominent “New task” button so it’s easy to spot.
  • Sign-in confirmation now fades on its own instead of needing a manual close.
  • Cleaner look — removed decorative emoji throughout for a more grounded feel.
New

v0.7 — Break the big jobs down

New

  • Sub-tasks — make any task a sub-task of another (or pull an existing task underneath one), and it keeps everything: who’s on it, the due date, notes, and its own checklist. Great for a big job like “Build the greenhouse base” with steps under it.
  • Filter Today by who — a quick picker in the top-right of Today lets you see just your work, a teammate’s, or unassigned tasks.

Improved

  • Clearer lists — sub-tasks are now marked with a “↳ sub-task of …” tag, and bigger tasks show how many sub-tasks are done (e.g. “2/5 sub-tasks”), so it’s obvious which are main jobs and which are steps.
New

v0.6 — Easier to talk to

A behind-the-scenes release focused on email and feedback.

New

  • In-app feedback — there’s now a feedback button on every page. Tell us what’s working, what’s broken, and what you’d love to see next, without leaving Farmist.

Improved

  • Account emails (sign-up confirmation, invitations, password resets) now send from farmist.app for more reliable delivery and fewer spam folders.

Fixed

  • Password reset page is now properly Farmist-branded — it briefly showed a generic logo.
